Macworld Monday Post 3: 2 Weeks to Go!
Wow- another incredible week has gone by with lots in the works for the week ahead.
This week we’re busy finalizing plans for our Tech Talk on Saturday, January 28 and wanted to share a preview with you today. Drumroll please….
Introducing the “The SpeedSketch Portrait Siri-es!”
Since her world debut last October, Siri has fast become one of the most widely recognized names among iPhone users and global gadgeteers. But who is she, really? And what does she look like? The Nomad Compose team invites you explore this question with us as we create the World’s First Digital “Portrait Siri-es.”
In this interactive and engaging SpeedSketch session, three digital artists — Jonathan Grauel, Fabric Lenny, and Corliss Blakely — will team up with three audience members to create a series of Siri-inspired “SpeedSketches.” Teams will work collaboratively, and draw upon input and inspiration from audience members to create their interpretations of Siri. Throughout the process, artists will also share digital sketching tips and ideas to inspire the digital art creation process.
We invite all of our enthusiasts and fans to participate in this collaborative art challenge! Later this week we’ll be officially announcing our “Compose Portrait Siri-es Challenge,” so stay tuned for more details. Select final works will be showcased in the Nomad Brush online gallery in February.
